Weisses Register

23K pages

The Weisses Register is a unique finding aid that began in the 18th century and indexes the records of the Zurich State Archives from the end of the Middle Ages to the year 1840. Text recognition using Transkribus and online publication make it possible to search the titles of thousands of documents on pre-modern Zurich history. Links are used to digitally link historical and modern archive records. The first registration period, which covers the period from the beginnings to 1739, is currently available online.
