Mining Hub

On this platform you may currently explore historical mining documents that focus on the mining regions of Schwaz and Rattenberg in Tyrol (Austria). 1) "Verleihbuch der Rattenberger Bergrichter" (1460-1463, TLA Hs. 37) and 2) “Schwazer Berglehenbuch” (approx. 1515, TLA Hs. 1587). The historical manuscripts are currently stored in the "Tiroler Landesarchiv Innsbruck / Tyrolean Regional Archive". Within the framework of the project "T.M.M.M.T - Text Mining Medieval Mining Texts", both manuscripts were digitised and further processed. 3) The historical document "Bergbeschau Schwaz Rottenburg & Rattenberg" is currently stored by the Salinenarchiv Bad Ischl. It was written in approx. 1666. This document was processed as part of the research project D.A.T.A. (University of Innsbruck)
