Voorheesville WWII Soldiers & The 104th Timberwolves

The Voorheesville Public Library cares for a historically significant collection of letters written by Voorheesville residents while serving in World War II. The archive was amassed by Elizabeth 'Lil' Smith who corresponded with over 150 fellow community members during the war. This site highlights a subset of the collection and focuses on the individuals who were attached in some way to the 104th Infantry Division, the "Timberwolves."

This site is a work in progress. More letters will be added in the near future.
