This is a general model for typwritten documents in English, German, Dutch and Finnish. It has been trained on 655000 words and the CER on the validation set is 1.28%.
Before using this model on larger documents or collections we recommend testing one of our newer ‘Transkribus Print’ models which can now also read typewritten documents and see which one works better.
