If you are in London on 21 March, come along to a free workshop at the Institute of Historical Research to get an introduction to Transkribus and other digital archival tools.

Dr Louise Seaward of the Bentham Project at University College London (one of the READ project partners) will give an overview of how to use Automated Text Recognition to transcribe and search historical collections in Transkribus.

Marta Musso will present on Archives Portal Europe, the largest online portal for archival research in European archives and Jane Ronson will talk about ‘Discovering UK Archives Online’.
